November 1, 2024 – Milledgeville, Ga. — Amwaste today announced the acquisition of Waste Away Environmental, LLC of Milledgeville, GA, which provides residential, commercial, and industrial waste collection services to the growing communities of Milledgeville and Dublin, GA and surrounding counties. The acquisition also includes two municipal solid waste (MSW) transfer stations as well as a highly automated material recovery facility (MRF).
