DTG Recycle Acquires Recovery 1 and Expands C&D Recycling Services to Tacoma, Washington

DTG Recycle, the largest recycler of C&D, industrial and manufacturing waste in the Pacific Northwest, is proud to announce the acquisition of Recovery 1, a waste management and recycling center in Tacoma for construction and demolition (C&D).

Recovery 1 has been an industry leader in recycling innovation for over two decades and has received the prestigious CORR certification by the Recycling Certification Institute (RCI), a protocol for verifying the accuracy of recycling and recovery rates of building materials with a high level of confidence. The acquisition will significantly increase DTG’s capacity to recycle C&D material in the South Puget Sound region.

“We are honored to be entrusted with the Recovery 1 legacy,” said Tom Vaughn, CEO of DTG Recycle. “Our mutual focus on sustainability creates a natural synergy that will enable us to become even more effective in our obsession to eliminate waste and accelerate our growth.”
